Q: Does Pro Admin replace Pro Maintenance Tools?

A: No, it is intended to supplement it and still requires Pro Maintenance Tools to be installed.

Q: How many licenses do I need?

A: You need one license of Pro Admin per facility and one license of Pro Maintenance Tools per computer. If you have licensed Pro Maintenance Tools on a desktop computer, you are allowed to additionally install and run the software on a laptop providing the laptop is owned and operated by you and both machines are not used at the same time.

Q: What's the difference between the 5-client and unlimited client licenses?

A: These licenses determine how many Pro Maintenance Tools clients can connect simultaneously to Pro Admin. Note that a license for Pro Admin does not include the necessary Pro Maintenance Tools licenses unless you choose one of the bundle options, so if you purchase the 5-client version, in order to connect 5 clients to it you will need to purchase 5 licenses of Pro Maintenance Tools.

Q: I only have a small network - is it still useful for me?

A: Yes, there are many additional features and benefits to using it, regardless of the size of your network. It's best to download the trial and see how it fits with your workflow.

Q: How do I uninstall the software once the trial is up?

A: The disk image available at the top of this page also contains an uninstaller.

Q: I'm having difficulty connecting to the clients. How do I resolve this?

A: The user manual has a troubleshooting section at the back that lists circumstances that could be preventing them from connecting.
